Mafia Love: The Cage He Made for Me

Lila returns from studying abroad to find her mother and brother killed by her stepfather Leo’s enemies; Leo then sells her to the mafia, where she suffers imprisonment and abuse. Escaping, she accidentally crashes into mafia leader Arthur’s car. Arthur initially suspects her as a spy but is gradually drawn to her, saving her repeatedly—they develop feelings and become intimate. Lila reveals Leo’s men’s betrayal and her ordeal, and Arthur resolves to avenge her. On Arthur’s wedding day, Leo kidnaps and drugs Lila, forcing her to shoot Arthur. Arthur is shot but rescues her; his father later sends Lila away with money and a ticket, unaware she is pregnant. Six years later, Lila raises their daughter Elena alone while running a bakery. One stormy night, the wounded Arthur collapses at her door; upon reunion, he notices Elena’s resemblance to him, presses for the truth, and they are tangled again by their past and lingering feelings.
