Copyright & DMCA notice
We're built to respect copyright, not stretch it: we host no video and no images, and we play episodes only through the platform's own official player. If something still needs to come down, here's how.
What we do and don't host
- We do not host or stream video. Where you can watch a free episode on a drama page, it plays inside the platform's own official embedded player, served from the platform, using an embed the platform provides.
- We do not store cover images. Cover art is shown by linking to the platform's own image servers; we keep no copy.
- Factual metadata. Titles, episode counts, languages, which app carries what, and how many episodes are free are facts about media products, which are not protected by copyright.
- Synopses. Where a plot summary appears, it is the platform's own synopsis, shown with that platform credited.
Our own material
Our editorial writing and our data compilation (selection, arrangement, comparisons) are ours, offered under CC BY 4.0 — reuse them with attribution.
Reporting infringement (DMCA & similar)
If you are a rights holder or their agent and believe material accessible through this site infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated contact and we will act promptly:
Copyright agent: rights@dramalyst.com
Please include:
- Your contact details and, if acting as agent, whom you represent.
- Identification of the copyrighted work, and the exact URL(s) on this site where the material appears.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are authorised to act for the rights holder.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Because we host no video or images, most concerns are resolved either by removing the metadata entry in question or by pointing you to the platform that actually serves the content. We forward player-related complaints to the relevant platform where appropriate.
Counter-notice
If we remove something you posted or provided and you believe that was a mistake, you may send a counter-notice to rights@dramalyst.com with the same identifying detail and a statement, under penalty of perjury, of your good-faith belief that the material was removed in error.
Repeat infringers
In appropriate circumstances we will remove material and stop indexing sources associated with repeated, substantiated infringement claims.
