I Want to Go Back Home

The protagonist, Lin Wei, has been married away for eight years and has never returned to her parents' home for the New Year. On Lunar New Year's Eve, she learns her mother is critically ill and wants to rush back to see her one last time, but she is deceived by her husband and obstructed by her in-laws, all so Lin Wei would stay and continue acting as a live-in maid at their beck and call.
